Galway Bay fm newsroom – Industrial action involving Brothers of Charity and Ability West staff in Galway and Roscommon has been postponed pending further talks with the Health Service Executive.
IMPACT trade union claims so-called ‘twilight’ payments are owed to around 400 care workers for over a decade amounting to almost 7.5 million euro.
A meeting between both sides took place at the Labour Relations Commission yesterday.
While a resolution to the dispute was not reached, enough progress was made to allow further talks on Monday July 6th.
