Galway Bay fm newsroom – A man will appear before Cloverhill District Court in Dublin today charged in connection with the murder of a Glenamaddy factory worker. (5/2)
30 year old Latvian national Andresj Krauze is appearing before the court today, where he is facing a murder charge over the death of Juris Buls in July 2011.
Juris Buls worked in Titan Plastics in Glenamaddy and was 30 years old when he disappeared on July 7th, 2011.
Gardai discovered his body over two weeks later in a wooded area near Creggs, 10km from his home in Glenamaddy.
Mr. Buls’s body was dumped in a drain, and a post mortem examination revealed that he had been strangled.
38 year old Sergejs Krauze was later charged with manslaughter at Galway Circuit Criminal Court, and sentenced to ten years in prison.
However, his brother Andresj Krauze fled to Latvia – where he was arrested last week after Tuam Gardai travelled to his home country on foot of a European Arrest Warrant.
