Galway Bay fm newsroom – The Department of Education is seeking patrons for the newly opened Steiner school in Knocknacarra.
Last year, the department announced the necessity to open 7 new primary schools nationwide in 2015 and 2016, including in Knocknacarra, to meet demographic demand.
The Galway Steiner School opened at Brooklawn House in Galway West Business Park in September last year.
The Department says applicants for the patronage will be required to comply with specific criteria, and the process will be overseen by the New Schools Establishment Group.
