Galway Bay fm newsroom – Gardaí are carrying out a forensic examination on the R336 road in Spiddal this morning (22/7) following a collision between a pedestrian and a motorcyclist last night.
The incident happened when a female pedestrian in her 70s was in collision with a male in his 60s who was driving a motorbike.
Both the man and woman were injured and were taken to University Hospital Galway for treatment.
It’s understood their injuries are not life threatening.
Gardaí are advising motorists to expect delays along the R336 approaching Spiddal this morning as a Stop/Go system is in operation while a technical examination of the scene is carried out.
