Galway Bay Fm newsroom-Elderly people living at Main Street in Loughrea are having difficulty sleeping due to noisy manholes.
That’s according to Loughrea area Fine Gael councillor Michael Moegie Maher who raised the issue at this month’s district meeting.
He says the manholes are a nighmare for elderly residents as cars and trucks travel along the road at night.
Councillor Maher has called on officials to get the structures repaired
