Galway Bay fm newsroom – There are plans to transform a recreational space at Ballymoneen Road in Knocknacarra.
Michael Burke has applied for planning permission for the development at Maoilín.
The plans include minor amendments to the design and layout of a previously permitted green open space.
It would also involve an expansion of the open space to include a pavillion structure and landscaped amphitheatre.
The development would also include revisions to two proposed play areas, and associated works.
A decision is expected from city planners at the end of September. (28/9)
