Minister Leo Varadkar is meeting with the staff at the office, which provides employment services and income supports.
This afternoon, the minister will visit the South Galway MABS office at Quay Street.
The Money Advice and Budgeting Service helps people to manage their funds, and also provides assistance and support to people in debt or mortgage arrears.
Meanwhile, Housing Minister Simon Coveney is also en route to Galway – he’ll visit Threshold’s new Tenancy Protection Office at Prospect Hill at 2.30 this afternoon.
