Galway Bay fm newsroom – A city man has announced that he will contest the upcoming General Election as a candidate for the Social Democrats party.
Dangan Heights native Niall O’ Tuathail previously declared he would stand for election as part of a then-unspecified emerging left-center party.
He says he choose the newly founded party led by Roisín Shortall, Stephen Donnelly and Catherine Murphy for its positive social vision and strong leadership.
Niall studied at Trinity College in Dublin and is the founder of a city-based software design firm.
He currently lives in the city with his Portugese partner and son.
