Galway Bay fm newsroom – The Health and Safety Authority has been notified following a workplace incident earlier today in which a man died.
The incident happened at a stone quarry at Ballymacken, Ardrahan around 7.30 this morning, when a lorry rolled back on top of the man, who’s was his 50s.
It’s understood he died at the scene.
The local area is in shock at the tragic death of the man who was well-known in the area.
