NUI Galway ‘secret’ cartoonist to launch exhibition

Galway Bay fm newsroom – A satirical cartoonist, whose identity is unknown, is launching an exhibition in the city today.
The so-called ‘secret cartoonist’ is best known for his or her cartoons of NUI Galway president, Dr Jim Browne.
The cartoons highlight issues such as gender equality – and it’s suggested that the artist has inside knowledge of the workings of the university.
The exhibition will be launched by NUIG’s gender equality campaigner Dr Michelene Sheehy Skeffington at the Secret Garden cafe, William Street at 6 this evening.
