Galway Bay fm newsroom – A teenager remains critically ill in hospital in Dublin this evening after falling from a third floor balcony in the city last night.
The 19 year old is from Tralee in county Kerry and is a first year student at NUI Galway.
He fell from an apartment balcony in the student housing complex Dun na Coiribe on the Headford Road at around 11.30pm.
He was rushed to University Hospital Galway before being transferred to Beaumont in Dublin.
No foul play is suspected but Gardai are investigating the circumstances of the fall.
