Galway Bay fm newsroom – The Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht is refuting suggestions that 8 million euro went unspent in her department this year.
Senator Trevor O’ Clochartaigh says the sum has been returned to central government at a time that local groups are in need of funding.
However, Minister Heather Humphreys says all available funds in her department have been spent.
Speaking to Galway Bay fm news, Minister Humphreys says Senator O’ Clochartaigh might be confusing capital funding with regional projects.
