Galway Bay fm newsroom – A new candidate has entered the race for one of three seats in the Roscommon-Galway constituency in the upcoming General Election.
Fianna Fail has put forward Shane Curran to the ticket, who will contest the election alongside his party colleague Eugene Murphy.
Mr. Curran lives in Brideswell with his wife and two daughters and is a well known sporting figure, currently managing Padraig Pearse’s and previously winning an All-Ireland title with St. Brigids.
The late addition brings the total number of candidates contesting the three seat constituency to ten.
