Galway Bay fm newsroom – President Michael D Higgins’ daughter Alice-Mary Higgins is to contest the Seanad elections.
The Galway city native is to take unpaid leave from her position as Policy Coordinator with the National Women’s Council of Ireland to run as an independent civil society candidate for the NUI panel.
