Around 25 people including members of the business community and local representatives attended a meeting to discuss the project in the Oranmore Lodge Hotel today.

The utility has now agreed to postpone the works on Main Street until September.
Other works planned for the Coast Road and the old Dublin Road will go ahead as planned.
