Galway Bay fm newsroom – 195 repossession cases are due to come before the circuit court in Galway this week.
That’s according to Renua County Councillor, James Charity who says that families are being forced into the rental market at a time which rents have increased by 7 per cent.
Councillor Charity believes that more than 500 applications for repossession by banks are waiting to be listed in Galway.
Speaking to Galway Bay fm news, Councillor Charity says the government needs to act now.
