Galway Bay fm newsroom – Irish Water has been directed to proceed with the implementation of Kinvara sewerage scheme.
The utility recently published its notice of Compulsory Purchase Order for the project which involves a new pipe network.
No objections were lodged with An Bord Pleanála in relation to the CPO and Irish Water has now been directed to proceed with the project, which is due to start in October.
However, it’s understood up to 85 homes will not be connected to the upgraded network.
Local councillor, Joe Byrne is calling on the Environment Minister to put pressure on Irish Water to ensure all housing estates are connected to the sewerage scheme.
